Discover Our Story!

On Farmstead Road is where soil, herbs, and slow living come together.
On Farmstead Road began as a simple longing to live closer to the land and let our days be shaped by the seasons instead of the clock. After 15 years of farming experience that started with traveling as a WWOOFer, learning from small farms and seasoned growers, I carried those lessons home and slowly began building our own homestead in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains.
What you’ll find in our shop is a reflection of daily life here. The mixed salts are inspired by the herbs we grow and dry ourselves. Our teas and bath soaks begin in the garden, yarrow, calendula, St. John’s wort, and other medicinal plants harvested by hand and blended in small batches. Each blend is rooted in herbal traditions I’ve practiced and refined over the years. Even our wood-burned garden markers come from time spent outdoors, planting, tending, and labeling rows in our own soil.
Everything starts on the land. We grow, harvest, dry, infuse, mix, and craft in rhythm with the seasons. Some ingredients are grown right here among the fruit trees, vineyard, and greenhouse; others are thoughtfully sourced to ensure they align with our organic and sustainable values. Each product is made in small batches, by hand, with care, never rushed.
Our shop is simply an extension of our homestead. It allows us to share what we grow, what we make, and what we’ve learned along the way. When you purchase from us, you’re supporting a working permaculture homestead, one where goats bleat in the background, bees hum in the garden, and herbs dry in bundles by the window.
On Farmstead Road isn’t just a business. It’s the life we’re building, and we’re grateful to share a little piece of it with you.
